WEEE and RoHS Environmental Training Course
The course equips manufacturers, suppliers and end users of electrical and electronic equipment with the necessary information and knowledge to understand and ensure compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (WEEE) and The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006 (RoHS).
The course has been designed primarily for those whose organisations which will be most affected by the legislation, ie, those manufacturing, selling, using or disposing of significant quantities of electrical equipment.
The course comprises:
- Background to WEEE and RoHS
- The WEEE Regulations
- WEEE Directive Implementation
- Ensuring compliance in business scenarios
- Overview of the RoHS Regulations
- Course summary and Q&A session
The course consists of a series of presentations, case studies and interactive workshop exercises, supplemented with reference notes to help embed key points.
Duration: 3 hours (+ 30 minute break.)
